This poster is very important to me. Not because of the hours I put into the oil painting, but because it paid for half of my college tuition. Did I mention my husband finds this poster very important as well?! My poster placed 13th nationally in the Art Institute Poster Competition. My concept originated from my belief that we are a created people, designed by the God of Creation. Mankind has been mimicking its Creator since time began. Throughout the ages, our media has varied greatly - gold, stone, stained glass, even wax crayons. Art is in all of us, from Michelangelo to the youngster with a box of Crayola's. We are one race, one people, created in the image of the One True God, and art is our universal language.
